Contact Lenses

Are your contact lenses genuine?

Many individuals believe that purchasing contact lenses online entails purchasing a fake or unsafe product. The contact lenses we carry are actually the exact same ones your optician would sell you. Established producers like Johnson & Johnson, Alcon, and Bausch & Lomb are represented in our wide selection of stock items, ensuring that we only sell genuine goods.

Can I try different branded contact lenses?

Only with your optician's permission may you experiment with a different brand of contact lenses. You will need the assistance of an optician to determine whether or not contact lenses are right for your eyes because they come in a wide variety of sizes and materials today. Consult your optician to locate a contact lens that would be more suitable for you if you have been using the same brand of contacts for a while or are dissatisfied with your present brand.

Can my contact lenses get stuck in the back of my eyes?

The likelihood of a contact lens becoming stuck behind your eye is quite slim.

The conjunctiva is a thin layer of wet tissue that covers the surface of the eyelid. In the back of the eyelid, the conjunctiva folds back and covers the white portion of the eyeball. It is impossible for anything to become caught behind the eye due to the positioning of the conjunctiva from the eyelids to the eyeball.

How long can I wear my contact lenses?

The length of time you can wear your lenses depends on the type of lenses you choose to wear and your eyes’ tolerance to them.

Typically, contact lenses are either worn and disposed of daily, or removed, cleaned and stored in solution every night for up to two weeks or a month. Some contact lenses also provide the option of continuous wear, these are called extended wear contact lenses that you can wear day and night for a set period of time. To find out which lenses are suited to your eyes, it is highly advisable to speak to your optician, although do remember that you can order your lenses online after you’ve been prescribed them.

How to get a copy of my contact lens prescription?

When you get an eye exam, the optician will give you a duplicate of your glasses. You are entitled to get a written copy of your prescription, which you may then use to order your prescription glasses from any retailer. Simply ask your optician to write out your prescription again if you ever need a duplicate. Some eye doctors won't offer it to you over the phone and will insist that you come in for an appointment.
